"... I love our beautiful town and admire the passionate participation of our residents! I appreciate each opportunity to listen and learn, apply my professional business experience to critical issues, and accomplish goals together."
“Jeanne MacLeamy approaches every decision with a thorough understanding of carefully researched facts and figures. She understands the potential harm from unintended consequences and deliberately seeks out opposing opinions for their value in looking at every perspective. Her business expertise and leadership skills have been a dynamic force in accomplishing important goals that have greatly improved our City. Ms. MacLeamy has proven leadership ability as shown in her two terms as mayor during City budget reduction processes. She also successfully spearheaded the City Hall restoration and was involved in the successful adoption of Measure F to allow the City breathing room in the face of unprecedented budget challenges. Her architectural and business experience will be invaluable through the General Plan update process in the coming years.” Novato Chamber of Commerce
“Witnessing a politician going out on a limb, when it’s potentially problematic and wouldn’t alter an outcome is newsworthy." Paul S. Mamalakis, Novato Advance
“Over the years I have known Jeanne, she has always been a great listener, open to ideas, proactive and when it comes to decision time she does her homework and is diligent to ensure that it is the best decision for our city. I have seen her interact well with both old and young members of our community and does so with kindness and respect.” Victoria Crawley, Community Volunteer
“North Bay Leadership Council, an employer-led public policy organization consisting of the leading employers in the North Bay, endorses Jeanne MacLeamy for Novato City Council. NBLC supports Jeanne MacLeamy because of her proven leadership in managing the city through perilous times, her support for pension reform, her balanced approach to meeting the needs of the people of Novato and her smarts. With Jeanne at the helm, Novato’s residents know that they can count on her to lead Novato with an inclusionary style that produces positive results.” North Bay Leadership Council
“To us, the key issue for Novato is to try – once again – to revitalize its downtown. The focus of community life in Novato needs to return to its downtown. At the moment, we have no problem parking in downtown Novato – for all the wrong reasons. These are big, redefining ideas for a downtown that desperately needs big, redefining ideas.” Pacific Sun's endorsement for Jeanne MacLeamy for City Council
"Incumbent Jeanne MacLeamy has worked hard and has demonstrated she is a conscientious and effective leader who is trying to steer Novato through serious budget problems and acrimonious debates over affordable housing ...... MacLeamy, who is seeking her third term, is a hands-on leader" Marin Independent Journal
